CELIAC DISEASE
Why DOESN’T CREMILLA HAVE GLUTEN-FREE CERTIFICATION?
We process and handle all ingredients in our own laboratory and follow strict internal guidelines that allow us to keep all machinery used for making both gelato and pastry specialties clean and sterilized.
However, we use bakery products such as cookies and sponge cake that contain gluten and may cause airborne cross-contamination within the lab.
Our staff follows a specific separate production schedule for these types of products to minimize the risk of contamination as much as possible,
but unfortunately, we cannot eliminate this risk entirely.
Additionally, the preparation of ice cream cones may lead to cross-contamination due to possible crumbs falling onto the ice cream.
We consider the protection of our customers’ health a fundamental value, and therefore we advise people with gluten intolerance not to consume our products.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
